Apps & Workspace

How to navigate the StretchSuite workspace itself — the app rail, dashboard, My Apps, the app launcher, recently-used, switching organizations, and the shape shared by every app.

Apps & Workspace

Your StretchSuite workspace is the single browser home for everything you do on the platform. Sales, finance, scheduling, files, marketing, websites, support, billing, and account controls all live behind one login and share the same clean shell — so you never bounce between a dozen disconnected tools with a dozen different logins.

This section is not about any one app. It is about the workspace itself: how the screen is laid out, how to find and open the apps you need, how to move quickly, and how to keep your work in the right place. Read these guides first and every individual app will feel familiar the moment you open it.

What you'll find here

Getting Started. What the workspace actually is, how to sign in, how organization membership works, and how to open your first app in under a minute. If you are brand new, start here.

Navigating the Workspace. A tour of the layout that surrounds every screen: the left app rail grouped by category (Operations; Content & Creative; Commerce & Growth; Comms & Legal; Platform & AI; Brand & Domains; and Account), the top bar with its breadcrumb, theme toggle, notifications, and account chip, and the Dashboard — your control room with quick actions, at-a-glance metrics, and the app launcher. You'll also learn how category pages work and the consistent shape every app uses so you always know where the important controls live.

Apps & the App Launcher. How to browse the full catalog on the My Apps page, read each app's status (Live, Coming soon, Placeholder, and so on), tell the difference between apps you can open and apps that need an upgrade, and use Recently used to jump straight back to whatever you touched last.

Organizations & Context. Many people belong to more than one workspace — for example, an agency operator with several client brands. These guides explain how to switch between organizations, how to confirm you're in the right one before you make changes, and how "workspace context" quietly scopes everything you see to the active organization.

Productivity & Troubleshooting. Practical speed tips, plus fixes for the handful of things that trip people up — a blank screen after sign-in, a card that won't open, or data that looks like it's "missing" because you're in the wrong workspace.

How the workspace is organized

Every app is filed under a category so related tools sit together:

  • Operations — CRM, Books, Tasks, Schedule, Calendar, Meet, Projects, Wire, and Automate.
  • Content & Creative — Docs, Sheets, Pages, Design, Forms, and Drive.
  • Commerce & Growth — Shop, Social, Analytics, SEM, and Brand monitoring (BAS).
  • Comms & Legal — Mail, Contracts, and Support.
  • Platform & AI — Code, Dev, GPT, Search, Learn, and Vault.
  • Brand & Domains — White Label, Domains, and managed WordPress (StretchWP).
  • Account — Services, Billing, and your Account profile.

The same categories appear in the left rail, on the Dashboard, and on the My Apps page, so wherever you are, the mental model stays the same.

A quick example

Say you run Payne Coaching, a workspace on a Pro plan. You sign in, land on the Dashboard, and see your app counts and StretchWP site status at a glance. You open the Operations group in the left rail, click StretchSchedule to check today's bookings, then use Recently used on the Dashboard to jump straight back to StretchCRM where you were updating a deal. When a client asks for an invoice, you open My Apps, spot that StretchBooks shows an Upgrade button because it's on the Agency tier, and decide whether to upgrade — all without ever leaving the workspace.

Who this is for

These guides are written for real customers using the workspace day to day — no engineering knowledge required. Where a screen shows a specific label, status pill, or button, we use the exact wording you'll see so you can follow along on your own screen. If you administer a workspace for a team or agency, the same navigation applies; only what you're allowed to change differs by role.
