What is the StretchSuite Workspace?

A plain-language tour of the StretchSuite workspace — the single browser home where every app, website, and account control lives behind one login.

What the workspace is

The StretchSuite Workspace is the web application you sign in to in order to run your business on the platform. Instead of juggling a separate CRM, an accounting tool, a scheduler, a file store, an email marketing product, and a website host — each with its own login, its own look, and its own silo of data — the workspace puts all of them in one place, behind one login, sharing one set of clients, projects, files, and reports.

Think of it as an operating system for client work. The apps are the programs; the workspace is the desktop they all run on.

The parts of the screen

Wherever you are in the workspace, three things stay constant:

  1. The left app rail (sidebar). A vertical list of your apps, grouped by category. This is your main way to move around. It has a Workspace group at the top (Dashboard and My Apps), then category groups you can expand — Operations, Content & Creative, Commerce & Growth, Comms & Legal, Platform & AI, Brand & Domains — and an Account group at the bottom.
  2. The top bar. Shows a breadcrumb (StretchSuite Workspace › your workspace name), a light/dark theme toggle, a notifications bell, and your account chip with your initials and role. The bottom of the sidebar has controls to switch workspace and sign out.
  3. The content area. Everything in the middle — the current app or page.

One login, many apps

You sign in once. Your session then gives you access to every app your plan includes, without signing in again for each one. Opening StretchCRM, then StretchBooks, then StretchSchedule is just clicking between them in the sidebar — the same as opening tabs on a desktop.

Because the apps live together, they also share context. A contact in your CRM, an invoice in Books, a booking in Schedule, and a support ticket can all point at the same client, so nothing is stranded in a separate tool.

How it's organized

Every app is filed under a category. This is the backbone of the whole workspace, and the categories are the same everywhere — the sidebar, the Dashboard, and the My Apps page:

  • Operations — CRM, Books, Tasks, Schedule, Calendar, Meet, Projects, Wire, Automate.
  • Content & Creative — Docs, Sheets, Pages, Design, Forms, Drive.
  • Commerce & Growth — Shop, Social, Analytics, SEM, Brand monitoring.
  • Comms & Legal — Mail, Contracts, Support.
  • Platform & AI — Code, Dev, GPT, Search, Learn, Vault.
  • Brand & Domains — White Label, Domains, managed WordPress (StretchWP).
  • Account — Services, Billing, Account.

Once you learn which category a job belongs to, you always know where to look.

What you can do here

  • Run apps for sales, finance, scheduling, marketing, documents, files, e-commerce, and more.
  • Manage websites through StretchWP and attach custom domains.
  • Request services and submit support tickets that already know which workspace you're in.
  • Handle billing — see your plan, invoices, and payment methods.
  • Control your account — profile, security, and preferences.
  • Switch between organizations if you belong to more than one.

A quick example

You own Payne Coaching. You open your browser, sign in, and land on the Dashboard. At a glance you see how many apps you have, how many StretchWP sites are live, and shortcuts to open the app launcher or contact support. You expand Operations in the left rail, click StretchCRM to log a call with a new lead, then click StretchBooks to send that lead an estimate. Every one of those steps happened inside the same workspace, against the same Payne Coaching data, with no second login.

Tips

  • Bookmark the workspace URL. It always opens to your Dashboard (or the sign-in page if your session has expired).
  • Learn the categories, not the individual URLs. Knowing that scheduling lives under Operations is faster than memorizing paths.
  • Use light or dark mode. The theme toggle in the top bar is per-person and remembered, so pick whatever is easier on your eyes.

Frequently asked

Do I need to install anything? No. The workspace runs entirely in your web browser on desktop or laptop.

Is every app included? Your plan determines which apps you can open. Apps outside your plan still appear so you can see what's available, marked with an Upgrade path. See Understand app launch states in My Apps.

Can more than one person use the same workspace? Yes. A workspace can have several members, each with a role that controls what they can change.
