Find and open your apps in My Apps

How to use the My Apps page to browse the full catalog, read each app card, and open — or unlock — any app in the suite.

What My Apps is

My Apps is the full catalog of every app in your workspace, presented as a grid of rich cards. It's the place to go when you want to browse everything available, compare apps, or open something you don't use every day. Reach it from the Open App Launcher button on the Dashboard, or My Apps in the left rail's Workspace group.

Reading an app card

Each card on the My Apps page tells you a lot at a glance:

  • Icon and name — for example, StretchCRM.
  • Category and access tier — such as "Operations / Pro", telling you where it fits and which plan level it belongs to (Core, Pro, or Agency).
  • Entitled or Locked — a pill in the corner showing whether your plan lets you open it now.
  • A mini preview — a small illustration of the kind of content the app handles.
  • The point tool it replaces — a "vs" tag (for example, "vs Shopify") to help you recognize it.
  • A value line — one sentence on why the work belongs inside StretchSuite.
  • A status pill — Live, Assigned, Planned, Coming soon, or Placeholder.
  • An action buttonOpen if you're entitled, or Upgrade if it's locked.

Open an app

  1. Go to My Apps (Dashboard button or left rail).
  2. Scan the grid — the summary cards at the top tell you how many apps are entitled and how many are upgrade paths.
  3. Find the app you want and check its corner pill reads Entitled.
  4. Select Open. The app loads.

Unlock a locked app

  1. If a card shows Locked and an Upgrade button, that app isn't included in your current plan.
  2. Select Upgrade. You'll be taken to Billing with that app pre-selected, where you can see what plan includes it.
  3. Once your plan covers it, the card flips to Entitled and the button becomes Open.

See What to check when an app card is locked for the full plan breakdown.

A quick example

You're on Payne Coaching's Pro plan and want to send contracts for signature. You open My Apps and scroll to StretchContracts. Its card shows "Comms & Legal / Agency" and a Locked pill, with an Upgrade button — Contracts is an Agency-tier app. You select Upgrade, land on Billing with Contracts pre-selected, and see that moving to Agency unlocks it. Meanwhile StretchCRM, StretchBooks, and StretchSchedule all show Entitled with Open buttons, so you use those right away.

Tips

  • Use the summary counts to gauge your plan. The "entitled" vs "upgrade paths" numbers at the top of My Apps are a quick read on how much of the suite you're using.
  • The "vs" tags speed up recognition. If you're coming from another product, match by the tool you already know.
  • Open the app from My Apps once, then rely on Recently used. After the first open, the app shows up in your Dashboard's Recently used for faster return.

Troubleshooting

"The app I want shows Locked." It's not part of your current plan. Use Upgrade to see which plan includes it, or ask your workspace administrator. See What to check when an app card is locked.

"A card shows Coming soon or Placeholder." The app is entitled but its full experience isn't live in your workspace yet; you may see a preview instead. See Understand app launch states in My Apps.

"The Org shown at the top of My Apps isn't the one I want." The page resolves against your active organization. Switch workspace from the sidebar footer, then reopen My Apps. See Confirm you are in the right workspace.

"Open does nothing." Refresh the page and try again; if a specific app repeatedly fails to open, note its name and file a support request from the Dashboard.
