Accounts & Access

Everything about StretchSuite accounts, sign-in and security, organizations and roles, per-app access, entitlements, and billing — how admins govern who can see and do what.

Accounts & Access

Accounts & Access is the platform-wide control center for identity and permissions across StretchSuite. Unlike a single app's help section, this hub cuts across every product you use — StretchCRM, StretchDrive, StretchMail, StretchBooks, and the rest — because they all share one account, one sign-in, and one set of organization rules. If a question involves who you are, which organization you're working in, what you're allowed to open, or what you're paying for, it belongs here.

The three layers of access

Almost every access question on the platform comes down to three layers stacking on top of each other. Understanding them makes the rest of this hub click into place:

  1. Your account (identity). One StretchSuite account = one person, identified by email and password. You create it once, verify your email, and then reuse it everywhere. Your account is not tied to any single company — it's you.
  2. Your organization membership (context). An organization (also called a workspace) is a company or team. Your account can belong to more than one organization at the same time, and in each one you hold a role: owner, admin, or member. The organization you're currently acting inside is your active workspace, and it determines whose data you see.
  3. App access and entitlements (permission). Whether you can actually open a given app depends on two gates working together: the organization's plan entitlement (does the subscription include this app?) and your member access (has an admin granted you this app?). Both must be satisfied.

What you'll find in this hub

  • Accounts & Profiles — Create a StretchSuite account, verify your email, review your profile and session details, and understand the account statuses (verified, awaiting activation, active) you may pass through.
  • Sign-in & Security — Sign in, stay signed in, sign out cleanly, reset a forgotten password, and understand how org-scoped sessions and route-level auditing protect your workspace. When something blocks you at the door, the troubleshooting guide walks you through it.
  • Organizations & Membership — Learn what an organization is, how memberships and the active-workspace context work, and how to switch between multiple organizations without losing your place.
  • Roles & Team Access — The heart of governance: what owner, admin, and member each can do, how to invite teammates and change their roles, and how to remove someone's access.
  • App Access & Entitlements — Why some apps show Entitled and others show Locked, how per-app access for individual members works, and how the two access gates combine.
  • Billing & Subscriptions — Membership tiers (Core, Pro, Agency, Suite), app bundles, usage meters, invoices, Stripe checkout, and the customer portal where owners manage the subscription.

Who should read what

  • New users should start with Create a StretchSuite account and Verify your email address, then Sign in and manage your session.
  • Owners and admins governing a team will spend most of their time in Roles & Team Access, App Access & Entitlements, and Billing & Subscriptions — these decide who on your team can open which apps and what the organization pays for.
  • Anyone stuck at sign-in should jump straight to Troubleshoot sign-in and account access and, if needed, If you forgot your password.

A note on rollout status

StretchSuite is in a controlled rollout. That means a newly registered account may not be immediately usable: after you verify your email, your account can sit in an awaiting activation state until the Stretch team approves access. A few sign-in options you may expect — such as single sign-on (SSO) — are also gated for now and appear disabled in the interface. Where a feature is limited by rollout, the relevant article says so plainly rather than pretending otherwise, so you always know whether you're hitting a bug or an intended limit.
