What a StretchSuite account is
One StretchSuite account is a single identity — your name, email, and password — that connects everything the platform offers: your dashboard, the apps activated for you, your organization memberships, purchases, and subscriptions. You create it once and reuse it across every product. Your account is personal: it is not owned by any one company. When a company (organization) adds you to their workspace, they attach your existing account to it — they do not create a separate login for you.
Before you start
- Use an email address you can access right now. You'll need to open a verification email to finish setup.
- If your company already uses StretchSuite and an admin invited you, check whether you were told to accept an invitation instead of registering fresh. Both paths use the same account; registering with the same email keeps everything consistent.
- Have a password in mind that is at least 10 characters — this is the minimum the registration form enforces.
Steps to register
- Go to the registration page at /register (the "Create an account" link on the sign-in screen takes you there).
- Enter your First name and Last name.
- Enter your Email — use the format
you@company.com. This becomes your permanent sign-in identifier. - Enter a Password of 10 or more characters, then retype it in Confirm password. The two must match exactly or the form will stop you with a "Passwords do not match" message.
- Select Create account. The button shows "Creating account…" while it works.
- When it succeeds, you'll see a confirmation screen telling you to check your inbox for a verification email.
What happens after you submit
Registration is only the first step. Here is the full sequence, so nothing surprises you:
- Account created. Your credentials are stored and a verification email is sent to the address you entered.
- Email verification. You must open that email and confirm your address before your account can move forward. See Verify your email address for details.
- Platform activation review. During the current controlled rollout, a verified account may still be awaiting activation — meaning access is held until the Stretch team approves it. You'll get a separate email once you're approved. See StretchSuite account statuses explained.
- Sign in. Once your account is both verified and active, sign in at /login with the same email and password.
Realistic example
Maya runs a small agency and is invited to try StretchSuite. She opens /register, types Maya and Okafor, enters maya@brightpath.co, and sets the password brightpath-2026! (16 characters, comfortably over the 10-character minimum). She confirms it, selects Create account, and lands on the "You're all set" screen. A minute later she opens the verification email, confirms her address, and sees "Your account is awaiting activation." The next morning she receives an approval email, signs in at /login, and — because she belongs to only one organization — goes straight to her dashboard.
Tips
- Pick the email you'll keep. Your email is your identity across the whole suite and is hard to change later. Use a durable work address, not a temporary or shared inbox.
- A longer password is a better password. The 10-character floor is a minimum, not a target. A short passphrase of a few words is both stronger and easier to remember.
- One email, one account, many organizations. If you later join a second company on StretchSuite, do not register again — they'll add your existing account. Registering a duplicate with a different email fragments your access.
Troubleshooting
- "Passwords do not match." The Password and Confirm password fields differ. Retype both carefully; watch for a trailing space or a stuck Caps Lock.
- "Unable to create account." An account may already exist for that email, or the address may be rejected. Try signing in instead, or use If you forgot your password to recover the existing account.
- No confirmation screen appears. Check your connection and try again. If the button stays on "Creating account…" indefinitely, reload the page and retry — a duplicate submission is harmless because the email is unique.
FAQ
Can I change my name or email after registering? Your name comes from what you enter here and appears on your account and to your teammates. Email changes are sensitive because email is your identity — if you need one changed, contact support rather than creating a second account.
Do I need a credit card to register? No. Registration creates your identity. Plans and payment are handled separately in Billing, and only an organization owner manages the subscription.
