StretchWire is built for speed. The command palette and a set of keyboard shortcuts let you create projects, jump between views, launch templates, and open boards without reaching for the mouse. This guide covers both.
Open the command palette
Press Cmd/Ctrl + K anywhere in StretchWire to open the command palette. If you're not typing in a field, you can also press / to open it. Start typing and the list filters instantly; use the arrow keys to move and Enter to run the highlighted command.
What you can do from the palette
The palette is a single entry point for the whole app:
- Create — New wireframe, Project, Board, App layout, and every template by name (type "Landing", "Dashboard", "Email", "User flow", and so on).
- Navigate — jump to Home / Dashboard, Projects, Boards, App Layouts, Templates, Import, or More.
- Quick actions — New design (open the canvas) and Import wireframe JSON.
- Recents — the palette remembers commands you've used so your common actions surface first.
Tip: You don't need to remember exact names. Type a keyword — "pricing", "import", "mobile" — and the palette matches on titles, descriptions, and types.
