What StretchTasks is

StretchTasks is the StretchSuite app for capturing, organizing, prioritizing, and finishing work. Every piece of work lives as a single task — with a title, description, priority, status, due date, reminder, checklist, and optional assignee — and that one task shows up across eleven connected views. You triage in an Inbox, plan your day on a Board or Planner, dig into a searchable List, get an engine-ranked running order in Priorities, and review results in Reporting. There is one source of truth behind all of it, so nothing falls through the cracks between capture and completion.

StretchTasks runs in two places that stay in lockstep: the admin console for your internal team and the customer workspace for clients. Both surfaces read and write the same task data, scoped to your organization, so what your team sees and what your customer sees never drift apart.

Who it's for

  • Small teams and operators who want a fast, opinionated place to capture and clear work without heavyweight project-management overhead.
  • Client-facing businesses that need a shared task surface with customers inside the workspace, where the same tasks are visible on both sides.
  • Anyone standardizing on StretchSuite who wants tasks that connect to their CRM contacts, projects, meetings, and conversations rather than living in a disconnected to-do app.

Key capabilities

  • Capture and organize. Create tasks with a priority (Urgent, High, Normal, Low), a status (Inbox, Planned, Today, Upcoming, Waiting, Blocked), a task type (task, subtask, follow-up, approval, reminder, checklist item), due dates, labels, and in-task checklists. Group related work into Projects and Sections.
  • Multiple views of one dataset. A Dashboard with live counts and analytics, a Kanban Board by status, a day-lane Planner with drag-to-reschedule, a dense sortable List, and focused Inbox / Today / Upcoming queues.
  • Reminders and recurrence. Set a reminder time and channel (in-app, email, SMS, or messenger) and repeat tasks on a recurrence rule in your own timezone.
  • Saved filters and labels. Slice your work with lightweight labels and reusable saved views, with visibility scoped from private up to your whole workspace.
  • Engine-powered Priorities. When enabled, the StretchTasks prioritization engine produces an explainable ranked sequence (with scores, bands, and a "why"), a critical path through dependent work, and a list of root blockers so you always know what to do next.
  • AI task capture. Turn a free-form note or meeting transcript into structured tasks with one action (when the AI feature is enabled for your platform).
  • Suite connections. Tasks can be linked to your CRM clients and contacts, platform projects, meetings, and conversations, so a task carries the context it came from.
  • Reporting. A running log of completed tasks plus dashboard analytics on throughput, status mix, and overdue load.

How it fits the suite

StretchTasks is the task backbone of StretchSuite. Rather than being an island, it is designed to receive work from — and give context back to — the other apps you use. A follow-up from a CRM contact, an action item from a meeting, or a step in a project can all become tasks in StretchTasks, tagged with where they came from. Because tasks are organization-scoped and appear identically in the admin console and the customer workspace, StretchTasks doubles as a shared to-do surface between your team and your clients.

Getting oriented

If you're brand new, start with Getting Started with StretchTasks to learn the core concepts and create your first task, then run through Onboarding and setting up your workspace to tailor defaults. From there, the Features guides walk each view in depth — Board, Planner, List, Inbox/Today/Upcoming, Projects, Labels & Filters, Reminders & recurrence, Priorities, and Reporting. The Workflows section shows how to capture tasks with AI and connect StretchTasks to the rest of the suite. When something goes sideways, the FAQ & Troubleshooting article has answers to the most common questions.

Tip: Every task you create lands in your Inbox by default (unless you change your default view or status). Building a habit of clearing the Inbox — giving each task a status, a due date, and a home in a project — is the single fastest way to get value from StretchTasks.
