Overview
StretchSocial doesn't work in isolation — it's one app in StretchSuite and is designed to exchange work with its neighbours. This guide explains the integrations that exist today, the ones that are planned, and how another suite app can schedule a post into StretchSocial safely.
Cross-app scheduling from StretchBAS and StretchSEM
StretchSocial exposes a secure, organization-scoped scheduling contract that other suite apps use to place posts at recommended times. StretchBAS (brand absorb/generate) and StretchSEM (search/marketing intelligence) can compute an optimal time and hand a post to StretchSocial, which forces it into the scheduled state so it lands on your calendar and queue like any other scheduled post.
The hand-off is anti-spoof by design: the tenant organization is taken from the authenticated gateway, never from the incoming request body. That means a scheduling call can only ever create posts in its own organization's workspace — one client's app can't schedule into another's. From your side, a post scheduled this way simply appears in Calendar and Queue, ready for the same approval and governed-delivery steps as anything you create by hand.
Media and assets — StretchFiles
StretchFiles is the suite's media library. StretchSocial is built to attach assets from StretchFiles so your images and videos live in one governed place rather than scattered across posts. Use the Asset notes field on a post to reference the creative while attachment matures.
Metrics and KPIs — StretchAnalytics
StretchAnalytics provides campaign metrics and KPI rollups. As network analytics come online, StretchSocial's own Analytics tab (production and delivery activity) is complemented by StretchAnalytics' cross-app reporting, giving you reach and engagement alongside your publishing data.
Scheduling and calendars — StretchSchedule
StretchSchedule coordinates calendars and publishing dates across the suite. The integration is planned so your social calendar can align with broader scheduling — campaigns, events, and team availability — rather than living on its own.
Client ownership — StretchCRM
StretchCRM owns client and account records. The planned integration ties campaigns and posts to the client or account that owns them, which is especially useful for agencies reconciling social work against client accounts.
AI and safety — StretchGPT
StretchGPT powers StretchSocial's optional AI: the brief-to-posts drafting and, in future, content-quality and safety suggestions. These are gated features enabled by your administrator (see AI drafting and content assessment).
Concrete example
Your team uses StretchSEM to find the best posting windows:
- In StretchSEM you approve a recommended slot for a post.
- StretchSEM schedules the post into StretchSocial via the cross-app contract; it's placed in your organization's workspace only.
- The post appears under Calendar → Scheduled and as jobs in the Queue.
- Your reviewer approves it in Approvals, and it follows the same governed delivery path as any hand-made post.
Tips
- Posts scheduled by another app still need approval and still respect governed publishing — nothing bypasses your review.
- Because scheduling is organization-scoped and anti-spoof, cross-app scheduling is safe for multi-client setups.
- Watch Calendar and Queue for posts that arrived from other apps so they don't surprise your reviewers.
FAQ
Can another company's app schedule into my workspace? No — the tenant is derived from the authenticated gateway, so a scheduling call only ever writes to its own organization.
Do cross-app scheduled posts skip approval? No. They enter the same lifecycle and still require human approval before governed delivery.
Which integrations are live today? Cross-app scheduling and the StretchFiles/StretchAnalytics foundations; StretchSchedule and StretchCRM ties are planned; StretchGPT AI is gated.
