StretchSchedule works best when it's connected to the tools you already use. Integrations let your bookings sync to your calendar and automatically attach video-conferencing links, so a booked meeting is complete the moment it's made.
Integration categories
StretchSchedule organizes integrations into three categories, shown in that order in the app:
- Calendar — sync meetings to and from your calendar so StretchSchedule respects existing events and adds new bookings.
- Video — attach a video link (Zoom, Google Meet) to meetings whose location is set to that provider.
- Platform — connect other StretchSuite and business systems so scheduling data flows where it's needed.
Each integration shows a provider name, a category, a short summary, and a connection status — such as connected, configured, or not yet set up.
Why connect a calendar
A connected calendar keeps your availability honest. Existing events are treated as busy, so StretchSchedule won't offer a slot that conflicts with something already on your calendar, and new bookings appear on your calendar automatically. This two-way awareness is what prevents double-booking across the tools you use.
Why connect video conferencing
When you set an event type's location to Zoom or Google Meet, connecting that provider means a meeting link is generated and attached to each booking — no manual link-pasting. Invitees get a ready-to-join link in their confirmation.
Viewing your integrations
Open Integrations to see the providers available for your organization and their connection status. The dashboard summarizes how many integrations you have and how many are connected so you can confirm the important ones are live before you rely on them.
Setting a location that uses an integration
- Open the event type you want to add video to.
- Set its location type to Zoom or Google Meet.
- Make sure the matching provider shows as connected under Integrations.
- Save. New bookings for that event type now get a video link automatically.
A realistic example
A remote consultancy wants every intro call to be a Zoom meeting on the right calendar:
- They connect their calendar integration so busy times are respected and bookings sync out.
- They connect Zoom under the video category.
- On the Intro Call event type, they set location to Zoom.
- A prospect books Thursday 11:00 — the meeting lands on the consultant's calendar with a Zoom link attached, and the prospect's confirmation includes the join link.
Tips
- Connect a calendar first. It's the single biggest safeguard against double-booking.
- Match the event type's location to a connected provider — setting location to Zoom without connecting Zoom means no link is generated.
- Check connection status on the Integrations screen before a big launch; configured or connected means it's ready.
- Use in-person or phone locations for meetings that don't need video, so you're not attaching unused links.
FAQ
Which video providers are supported? Zoom and Google Meet are available as event-type locations; connect the matching integration to auto-attach links.
Will StretchSchedule see my existing calendar events? With a connected calendar, existing events count as busy so conflicting slots aren't offered.
What does connection status mean? Connected / configured means the integration is ready to use; anything else means it still needs setup.
Troubleshooting
- No video link on my bookings. Confirm the event type's location is set to Zoom or Google Meet and that provider shows as connected.
- Double-booking still happens. Your calendar integration may not be connected, or a conflicting event lives on a calendar that isn't linked.
- An integration shows as not connected. Re-run its setup from the Integrations screen; until status reads connected/configured it won't sync.
