Sharing and Real-Time Collaboration

Overview

StretchPages is built for teams. Pages live in your shared workspace, so anyone with access can open and edit them. When more than one person is in a page, StretchPages shows live presence — who else is here and where their cursor is — and autosaves everyone's work to the shared page, so you can collaborate without emailing files around.

Who can access a page

Access is controlled per workspace:

• Owners and admins always have access to the Pages app and its pages.
• Other members get access when the Pages app is added to their allowed apps by an owner or admin.

Everyone who has access to the Pages app in your workspace can open, edit, and publish pages, subject to their role.

Share a page with your team

1. Make sure your teammate is a member of the workspace and has the Pages app in their allowed apps (an owner or admin sets this).
2. They open the Pages app and find the page in the shared library.
3. Send them the page so they know which one to open — by name, or by the live URL once it's published.

Because the library is shared, there's no per-page invite step: access to the Pages app means access to the workspace's pages.

Real-time presence

When teammates are in the same page at the same time:

1. You see who's present in the page.
2. You see each person's live cursor, color-coded, as they move around the canvas.
3. Each person's edits autosave to the shared page as they work.

Presence keeps everyone aware of who's doing what, so you can divide up sections and avoid working over each other.

A smooth collaboration workflow

1. Divide the page. Agree who's taking which sections (for example, one person on the hero, another on pricing).
2. Watch presence. Use the live cursors to see where teammates are and stay out of each other's way.
3. Let autosave handle saving. There's no manual save — changes persist as you go.
4. Use revisions as a safety net. If something gets into a bad state, restore an earlier snapshot from the Revisions panel.

Example: a two-person landing page sprint

You and a colleague open the same launch page. You take the hero and feature grid; they take testimonials and the footer. You can see their cursor down in the footer while you work up top, so you never collide. Both of your changes autosave to the page. When you're both done, you review it together and publish.

Tips

• Coordinate by section. Presence shows you where people are — use it to split the page so two people aren't reworking the same element at once.
• Talk while you build. Pair the shared canvas with a quick call or chat for the smoothest sessions.
• Lean on revisions. If a session gets messy, roll back to a clean snapshot.
• Confirm access first. If a teammate can't see the page, an owner/admin likely needs to add the Pages app to their allowed apps.
• Publish once, share the URL. For stakeholders who just need to view the result, send the published URL rather than editor access.

Troubleshooting

A teammate can't open the page. They may not have Pages access. An owner or admin should confirm the Pages app is in their allowed apps and that they're an active workspace member.

I don't see my teammate's cursor. Presence appears when you're both in the same page at the same time. Confirm you're both in the exact same page and connected.

We both edited the same element and one change seems lost. To avoid overwriting each other on the same element, split work by section using presence, and check Revisions to recover an earlier state if needed.

My changes didn't appear for a teammate. Edits autosave; have them re-open the page to load the latest saved state.
