In-Call Reactions and Raised Hands

Send emoji reactions that float on the meeting stage, and raise your hand so the host sees a live speaking queue of everyone waiting to talk.

Reactions

Send an emoji reaction during a call and it floats briefly on the meeting stage for everyone to see — a quick, non-disruptive way to say yes, applaud, or agree without interrupting the speaker.

Raised hands

Raise your hand when you want to speak. Your raised hand appears as:

  • a badge on your video tile,
  • a row in the host's Raised hands queue in the People panel (ordered oldest-first, so the host can call on people in turn), and
  • a count on the People button.

Lower your hand with the Lower button when you are done.

How to use it

  1. In a StretchMeet call, use the reactions control to send an emoji.
  2. Use the raise-hand control to join the speaking queue; lower it when finished.
  3. Hosts watch the Raised hands list in the People panel to see who is waiting to speak.

Availability

Beta — rolling out. In-call reactions and the raised-hands queue are released behind a feature flag and are being verified in live calls before general availability. The persistent record of reactions and hand-raises remains in the meeting chat timeline.
