StretchMeet
StretchMeet is the video meeting and live conferencing app built into StretchSuite. It gives your team a secure place to host client calls, sales demos, coaching sessions, webinars, and internal standups — without bolting on a third-party tool. Meetings run on StretchMeet's own real-time media engine, and every recording, transcript, and AI summary flows straight back into the rest of your suite.
Because StretchMeet lives inside your workspace, a meeting isn't a disconnected event in someone else's app. It's tied to the contact you're talking to, the project you're delivering, and the deal you're closing — so the context, the recording, and the follow-up all stay in one place.
What StretchMeet does
- Schedule and run meetings — Create meeting rooms with a title, description, start and end time, duration, and timezone. Rooms move through clear states (
draft, scheduled, live, ended) so you always know what's happening now and what's coming up. - Control who gets in — Choose a lobby mode (open, workspace-only, host approval, or fully locked), turn a waiting room on or off, and require a passcode for guests. You decide how tight the door is on every room.
- Invite anyone — Generate secure, time-limited join links for teammates and external guests. Assign each person a role: host, co-host, attendee, or viewer. Guests can join public rooms with just a name and passcode — no account required.
- Host live — Once a meeting is live, admit people from the lobby, mute noisy participants, promote a teammate to co-host, remove disruptive guests, and lock the room. End the meeting for everyone with one action.
- Break out and regroup — Split a large meeting into breakout rooms for small-group work, assign participants, then close the breakouts and bring everyone back to the main room.
- Record and transcribe — Record meetings manually or automatically, and capture a searchable transcript. Recordings, transcripts, and summaries are stored as meeting artifacts you can revisit later.
- Get the AI recap — After a meeting, StretchMeet surfaces an AI summary with the key decisions and action items — so nobody has to write up notes by hand.
- Monitor quality — Live quality telemetry (latency, jitter, packet loss, bitrate, frame rate, connection state) helps you spot a struggling connection before it derails the call.
- Connect and automate — Bring in an external meeting provider if you need one, and subscribe to webhook events (like
meeting.createdorparticipant.join_requested) to trigger workflows in other tools.
Who it's for
StretchMeet is for any StretchSuite team that talks to people over video:
- Sales teams running demos and discovery calls tied to CRM deals.
- Client services and agencies hosting kickoff and status calls linked to live projects.
- Coaches and consultants running recurring 1:1 and group sessions.
- Operations and internal teams running standups, all-hands, and training with breakout rooms.
- Support and onboarding teams who need recordings and transcripts for reference.
How it fits the suite
StretchMeet is designed to be the meeting layer of StretchSuite, not an island:
- Meetings link to your records. A room can carry a linked contact and project, so a call opened from a CRM record or a project stays connected to it. The meeting, its recording, and its summary all show up in context.
- Artifacts stay in the suite. Recordings, transcripts, and AI summaries are stored as artifacts against the meeting, keeping your customer history complete without exporting to another platform.
- Events fan out. Webhook subscriptions let other apps and automations react to meeting lifecycle events in real time.
- One workspace, one login. Your team joins StretchMeet with the same StretchSuite identity they already use, and org-level access controls apply automatically.
Getting started
If you're new, start with Getting Started with StretchMeet for a guided first meeting and a tour of the dashboard. From there, Scheduling a Meeting and Controlling Meeting Access cover the settings you'll use most, and Recording Meetings plus Transcripts, AI Summaries & Artifacts show how to capture everything that happens on the call. The Troubleshooting & FAQ category is there whenever something doesn't behave the way you expect.
