Enroll, learn, and complete your first StretchLearn course

A complete learner walkthrough — from browsing the catalog and previewing a course to enrolling, working through lessons, passing the quiz, and earning your certificate.

Overview

This is the full journey from a learner's point of view: find a course, preview it, enroll, work through the lessons, pass any quizzes, and finish with a certificate. If you're new to StretchLearn as a student, start here.

1. Browse the catalog

  1. Sign in to your StretchSuite workspace and open Learn from the app rail.
  2. The Catalog shows the available courses as cards. Each card has a title, a short summary, a difficulty level, and sometimes a badge like New.
  3. Use the level and topic cues to find a course that fits — beginner courses assume no background; advanced ones expect earlier courses first.

Tip: Courses marked featured sit at the top of the catalog. If you're unsure where to start, they're usually the flagship courses.

2. Preview before you commit

Most public courses let you sample the curriculum for free:

  1. Open a course to see its public page — the headline, overview, learning outcomes, and the module-and-lesson outline.
  2. Open the previewable lesson (courses typically offer the first lesson free) to get a feel for the teaching style.
  3. When you reach the preview limit, you'll be prompted to enroll to continue.

3. Enroll

  1. On the course page, choose Enroll.
  2. If the course requires an account level you don't have yet, you'll be asked to sign in or create a registered account first (see Create a StretchLearn student account).
  3. Once enrolled, the full curriculum unlocks and the course appears in your student portal.

4. Work through the lessons

  1. Open the course from your portal and start with the first lesson in the first module.
  2. Work through each lesson in order — watch the video or read the material, then move to the next.
  3. As you finish a lesson, mark it complete (or it's marked for you when you finish it). Your progress percentage climbs as lessons are completed.
  4. Move module by module until the curriculum is done.

Tip: You don't have to finish in one sitting. StretchLearn remembers where you left off, so you can close the course and resume from the same spot later.

5. Take the quiz

Many courses include a quiz to confirm you've learned the material:

  1. Open the quiz when you reach it. Read the instructions — note the passing score, whether there's a time limit, and how many attempts you get.
  2. Answer each question and submit.
  3. If the quiz shows correct answers, review what you missed. If you didn't pass and have attempts left, retake it.

6. Complete and get certified

  1. When every required lesson is complete and you've passed any required quiz, the course reaches 100%.
  2. If the course offers a certificate, you'll receive one with a unique number (like SL-9F3A2B1C).
  3. Find it in your portal, download or share it, and use its verification link as proof (see Earn and share your course certificate).

A realistic run-through

1. Open Learn → Catalog → "Operator Certification" (featured).
2. Preview lesson 1 free; decide to enroll.
3. Enroll (registered account required) → curriculum unlocks.
4. Complete Module 1 (3 lessons) → progress 40%.
5. Complete Modules 2–3 → progress 100% of lessons.
6. Take "Operator Final": score 90%, pass (threshold 80%).
7. Certificate SL-9F3A2B1C issued; share the verification link with your employer.

Tips

  • Preview first. It costs nothing and tells you whether the course fits before you enroll.
  • Complete lessons in order — later lessons and quizzes assume you've done the earlier ones.
  • If a quiz has limited attempts, review the lessons before your final try.
  • Keep your certificate's verification link; it's the trustworthy way to prove completion.

Troubleshooting

  • I can't get past the preview. You've hit the free preview limit. Enroll to unlock the rest.
  • Enrollment is blocked. The course may require a registered account or a prerequisite course. Sign in / create an account, or complete the required course first.
  • My progress didn't update. Give it a moment and refresh; if a completed lesson still shows incomplete, see How your course progress is tracked.
  • I finished but got no certificate. Not every course issues a certificate, and some are issued by the instructor. Check your portal and, if needed, contact the course provider.
