Create a StretchLearn student account

Set up the account you need to enroll in courses, understand what a registered account unlocks, and keep your learning tied to one sign-in.

Overview

Browsing and previewing courses is often open to anyone, but to enroll, track progress, and earn certificates you need a StretchSuite account. This article covers creating that account, what it unlocks, and keeping all your learning under one sign-in.

Why you need an account

Many courses set a member access level — commonly registered — that you must meet to unlock the full curriculum. Your account is what:

  • Unlocks enrollment beyond the free preview.
  • Holds your progress so you can pause and resume.
  • Earns your certificates, tied to your identity so they can be verified.
  • Keeps everything in one place across every course you take in the workspace.

Create your account

  1. Open the course or catalog and choose Enroll (or Sign in).
  2. If you don't have an account yet, choose to create one.
  3. Enter your details — typically your name and email — and set a password (or use the sign-in method your provider offers).
  4. Confirm your email if prompted.
  5. You're now signed in as a registered learner and can enroll in courses.

Tip: Use an email you'll keep long-term. Your certificates and progress are tied to this account, and you'll want access to them well after a course ends.

What a registered account unlocks

Once registered, you can:

  • Enroll in any course whose access level you meet.
  • Resume courses from where you left off, on any device, by signing in.
  • See your enrolled courses and progress in the student portal.
  • Receive and share certificates with their verification links.

Keep your learning under one account

All of your progress, enrollments, and certificates attach to the account you signed in with. If you accidentally create a second account, your history is split between them. To avoid this:

  1. Always sign in with the same email before enrolling.
  2. If you use multiple devices, sign in with that same account on each.
  3. If you think you have two accounts, contact the course provider so they can help consolidate your records.

A realistic example

1. Find "Operator Certification" and preview lesson 1 free.
2. Choose Enroll → prompted to sign in.
3. Create a registered account with your work email.
4. Enroll → the full curriculum unlocks.
5. Later, sign in on your phone with the same email → resume where you paused.

Tips

  • Register before you start a long course so your progress is saved from lesson one.
  • Store your sign-in details safely; losing account access means losing quick access to your certificates.
  • If your organization provides your account, use the sign-in they gave you rather than creating a personal one — it keeps your training on record with them.

Troubleshooting

  • I can't enroll even though I'm signed in. The course may require a higher access level or a prerequisite course. Check the course page for requirements.
  • My progress vanished. You may be signed in with a different account. Sign out and back in with the email you originally used.
  • I never got the confirmation email. Check spam, and confirm you entered the address correctly. Request a new confirmation if the provider offers one.
  • I have two accounts. Contact the course provider to merge your records so your progress and certificates live under one sign-in.
