Getting started
What is StretchDesign?
It's the visual design app inside your StretchSuite workspace — a drag-and-drop editor for social posts, marketing graphics, presentations, and other visuals, with templates, brand kits, uploads, versioning, and collaboration built in. Think of it as the suite's in-house Canva.
Do I need design experience?
No. Start from a template, apply your brand kit, and let the smart tools handle quality and resizing.
How do I open it?
Sign in to your workspace, open the app launcher, and select StretchDesign.
Designs and saving
Do I need to save manually?
No. StretchDesign autosaves as you work and records a version on every change.
How big can a design be?
Start at any pixel size (the default is 1080 × 1080). A single design can hold multiple pages, and StretchDesign keeps the most recent 50 versions of each design.
Can one design have multiple pages?
Yes. Add pages (artboards) for decks, carousels, or a set of related formats in one file. Page order drives Present mode and PDF export.
How do I mark a design as finished?
Set its status to published. It stays editable, but it's separated from your drafts and counted on your dashboard.
Elements and content
What can I add to a design?
Text, images, shapes (rectangles, ellipses, lines), frames, tables, QR codes, and charts — from the Text and Elements panels.
How do I upload my own images and logos?
Use the Uploads panel. Assets go into a shared library your whole organization can reuse. Keep individual files around 16 MB or less.
What's a brand kit?
A saved set of your brand colors, fonts, and logo you can apply in one click and check designs against.
Collaboration
Can my team work on the same design?
Yes — both asynchronously (via comments) and live (real-time editing with presence). Everything is scoped to your organization.
Can I pin feedback to a specific element?
Yes. Select the element, then comment — the note pins to that element and page. Resolve and reopen comments as work progresses.
Is my work private?
Yes. Designs, uploads, brand kits, and comments are scoped privately to your organization; other companies can't see them.
Smart tools
What are the smart tools?
Magic Resize (rescale to a new size), palette generation (coordinated colors), quality check (flags contrast/off-canvas issues), brand check (compares to your brand kit), and AI feedback (style, palette, and suggestions).
Why is a smart tool unavailable?
Checks, palettes, and resize run on an optional design engine, and AI feedback runs on an optional AI service — both enabled by your workspace administrator. If a tool is missing, ask your admin to turn it on.
Does a brand check need anything?
Yes — a brand kit must be attached to the design (or supplied at check time).
Exporting
What formats can I export?
PNG, JPG, SVG, and PDF. Multi-page designs export as a single PDF, one page per canvas.
Which format should I use?
PNG/JPG for web and social, PDF for print and documents, SVG for logos and anything that must scale sharply.
Can I present a design?
Yes — Present mode runs it full-screen, page by page.
Limits and safety
Is deletion reversible?
No. Deleting a design permanently removes it and its version history. Version restore within a design is safe and non-destructive, but whole-design deletion is not.
How many versions are kept?
The most recent 50 per design; older ones are pruned automatically. Label anything you want to keep findable.
Is there a file-size cap on uploads?
Keep individual uploads to roughly 16 MB or under; the design document itself also has an internal size limit, so very heavy files may be rejected — compress large images first.
