Workflow: Build Multi-Page, On-Brand Collateral

Produce a multi-page deck or document in a single design using pages, brand kits, tables, charts, and checks — then export as one PDF.

Goal

Build a polished multi-page piece — a pitch deck, a one-pager set, or a mini-brochure — inside a single StretchDesign design, keeping it on-brand throughout, and export it as one PDF.

Before you start

  • Have your brand kit ready (colors, fonts, logo).
  • Sketch your page order: what goes on page 1, 2, 3, and so on.

Steps

1. Create the design and set the format

  1. Create a design named for the piece — e.g. Investor Deck — Q3.
  2. Set a slide-friendly canvas size such as 1920 × 1080 (16:9).

2. Add your pages

  1. Use the page controls to add one page per slide or section.
  2. Reorder pages to match your intended sequence — this order drives both Present mode and the exported PDF.

3. Establish a consistent look

  1. On page 1, build your title/hero using Brand Kit colors and fonts.
  2. Add your logo from Uploads.
  3. Reuse the same background, type styles, and spacing on every page so the set feels cohesive. Copy a styled header element from page to page to stay consistent.

4. Add structured content

  • Use tables for schedules, pricing tiers, or feature comparisons.
  • Use charts to visualize key numbers (growth, market size, results).
  • Use frames for consistent image crops across pages.
  • Keep one clear headline per page and readable body copy.
  • Add a QR code on the closing page linking to your site, booking page, or full report.

6. Check quality and brand

  1. Run a quality check to catch low-contrast text and elements that spill off-canvas — easy to miss across many pages.
  2. Run a brand check against your brand kit to catch any stray color or font.
  3. Fix flagged issues page by page.

7. Rehearse and export

  1. Use Present to walk through the deck full-screen in order.
  2. Export the whole design as a single PDF (one page per canvas) for sending or printing.
  3. Export any individual page as PNG if you need standalone images.
  4. Set the design's status to published when it's final.

Realistic example

You build a six-page investor deck as one design at 1920 × 1080. Page 1 is the branded title; page 2 a problem statement; page 3 a chart of market growth; page 4 a table of pricing tiers; page 5 traction with framed screenshots; page 6 a closing slide with a QR code to the data room. You keep a shared header style across all pages using the brand kit. A quality check flags a faint caption on page 3 and a logo hanging off the edge on page 6 — both quick fixes. You present it to rehearse, export a single PDF for the roadshow, and publish.

Tips

  • Keeping a whole deck in one design means one file, one version history, and one PDF export — far easier to manage than separate files per slide.
  • Reuse a styled header/footer element across pages for instant consistency.
  • Run the quality check near the end — multi-page pieces hide contrast and off-canvas issues easily.
  • Label a version Client approved once signed off, so you can always return to the exact approved deck.

Troubleshooting

My PDF pages are out of order. Reorder pages in the editor; PDF export follows canvas order.

Pages look inconsistent. Copy a styled element (header, background) from a good page onto the others, and apply brand-kit colors and fonts uniformly.

A chart or table is hard to read. Increase size and contrast, then re-run the quality check to confirm the fix.

The deck is slow to load. Large embedded images are the usual cause — compress big photos before adding them and keep individual uploads reasonably sized.
