What StretchDesign is

StretchDesign is the visual design app built into your StretchSuite workspace — the in-house answer to tools like Canva. It gives your whole team a drag-and-drop canvas for producing social posts, ads, presentations, one-pagers, flyers, and other marketing visuals without leaving the suite or juggling a separate design tool. Every design you create lives inside your workspace and is scoped privately to your organization, so nothing leaks between tenants and everything stays where the rest of your work already is.

You open StretchDesign from the app launcher in your workspace. It loads a full editor surface: a home dashboard that summarizes your library, a searchable list of your designs, a starter-template gallery, and the canvas editor itself with side panels for text, elements, uploads, brand kits, layers, and export.

Who it's for

StretchDesign is built for marketers, social media managers, small-business owners, agencies, and anyone on your team who needs polished visuals fast. You do not need to be a professional designer — templates, brand kits, and smart tools do the heavy lifting — but there is enough depth (multi-page canvases, precise positioning, layers, versioning) to support serious, repeatable production work.

Key capabilities

  • Designs on a drag-and-drop canvas. Create a design at any pixel size (the default is 1080 × 1080), then add and arrange elements: text, images, rectangles and shapes, lines, frames, tables, QR codes, and charts. Designs can hold multiple pages (artboards) so a whole campaign lives in one file.
  • Templates. Start from a ready-made starter template instead of a blank canvas. Templates are grouped by category and open straight into the editor, where you swap copy and imagery to make them yours.
  • Brand kits. Store your brand colors, fonts, and logo in a reusable brand kit so every design stays on-brand, and check work against it automatically.
  • Uploads and shared assets. Upload your own images and logos into a shared asset library that everyone in your organization can reuse across designs.
  • Autosave and version history. Designs save automatically as you work, and every save records a version. You can browse the timeline, preview any point in time, label important versions, and restore an earlier one non-destructively. StretchDesign keeps the most recent 50 versions per design.
  • Comments and real-time collaboration. Leave threaded comments pinned to a page or a specific element, resolve and reopen them, and edit the same design together in real time with live presence.
  • Magic Resize. Instantly rescale a finished design to a new canvas size — turn a square post into a story or a banner — and optionally save the result as a brand-new design.
  • Palette generation. Generate a coordinated color palette from a seed color and a scheme to kick-start a look or fill out a brand kit.
  • Design quality checks. Run an automated review that flags issues such as low-contrast text and elements that spill off the canvas, with results shown right on your Designs grid.
  • Brand consistency checks. Compare a design's colors and fonts against your brand kit to catch anything off-brand before you publish.
  • AI design feedback. Where enabled, get an AI read on a design's visual style, palette, key elements, and constructive suggestions.
  • Export and present. Download finished work as PNG, JPG, SVG, or PDF, or run a design full-screen in present mode.

How it fits the suite

StretchDesign is one app in the StretchSuite platform, and it shares the same workspace, sign-in, and organization model as every other app. Because designs are org-scoped, your library is private to your business and available to the teammates you work with. The visuals you produce here feed the rest of the suite — social graphics for your posting tools, imagery for your storefront and pages, and collateral for your campaigns — so StretchDesign is where the look of everything your organization publishes comes together.

Some of the smart tools (quality checks, brand checks, Magic Resize, palette generation, and AI feedback) run on an optional design engine and AI service that your workspace administrator enables. If a smart tool is unavailable in your workspace, that is why — ask your admin to turn it on. Everything else — creating designs, templates, brand kits, uploads, versions, comments, and real-time collaboration — is available out of the box.
