Deal Rotting: catch stalled deals before they go cold

Set how long a deal may sit in a stage before StretchCRM flags it as rotting, and work a live list of the deals that need attention.

What this adds

Deals that sit too long in one stage are the quiet way a pipeline leaks. Deal rotting puts a clock on every stage so a stalled deal announces itself instead of hiding.

  • Per-stage thresholds — set the number of days a deal may sit in each stage before it is considered rotting. Different stages can have different limits.
  • Board badges — the pipeline board shows how many days a deal has been in its current stage, and a rotting badge once it crosses the threshold.
  • Rotting worklist — a focused list of every rotting deal across the pipeline, so a rep or manager can work exactly the deals that need a nudge.
  • Automation hook — when a deal starts rotting it emits a one-time deal_rotting event, which an automation workflow can act on (notify the owner, create a task, reassign).

How to use it

  1. Open StretchCRM → Pipeline settings → Deal rotting and set a day threshold per stage.
  2. On the board, watch the day counter on each card; rotting cards are badged.
  3. Open the Rotting panel to work the shortlist.
  4. (Optional) In Automations, add a trigger on the deal_rotting event to notify or reassign automatically.

Availability

Rolling out. Deal rotting is enabled per account. If you do not see rotting settings or badges yet, it has not been switched on for your workspace — ask your StretchSuite contact.
