If you access StretchContracts through your StretchSuite workspace, everything you see is automatically scoped to your organization. You don't pick an organization or filter by it — the workspace knows who you are and shows only your agreements, templates, and envelopes. This article explains what the workspace surface gives you and how it differs from the broader admin view.
Organization scoping, automatically
The workspace determines your organization from your signed-in session, not from anything you type. That means:
- Every agreement you see belongs to your organization.
- Every envelope, renewal, and risk figure is computed over your organization's agreements only.
- You can't accidentally see or touch another organization's contracts.
This is the safe, tenant-isolated way to work — ideal for teams who should only ever see their own book.
What you can do in the workspace
The workspace gives you the everyday contract toolkit:
- See your overview. An organization-scoped dashboard with your contract counts, active agreements, pending approvals, and renewals due.
- Browse templates. The full starter template library is available to draft from — NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, contractor and consulting agreements, offer letters, SaaS and vendor agreements — including previews of their sections and merge fields.
- List and open your agreements. See all of your organization's agreements and open any one.
- Create, edit, and archive agreements. Draft a new agreement (from a template or blank), update its terms and dates, and archive it when it's done. Your name is recorded on changes you make.
- Run renewal intelligence. See your renewal-risk summary, your renewal-risk list, and your portfolio-risk roll-up — all scoped to your organization.
- Send for e-signature. Create envelopes from your agreements, add recipients and fields, and send them for signature, then track them.
Step-by-step: draft, sign, and manage entirely in your workspace
- Open StretchContracts from your workspace. The overview shows your organization's numbers.
- Open Templates, pick the right starting point, and preview it.
- Draft a new agreement from the template, fill in the merge fields and commercial terms, and save it as a draft.
- Advance it through review to approved as your team signs off.
- Create an envelope from the agreement, add your counterparty as a signer with a signature and date field, and send.
- Track the envelope to completed, then set the agreement to active.
- Each week, open your renewal-risk view to stay ahead of anything renewing soon.
What's different from the admin view
The workspace is the day-to-day surface. A few advanced or deep-analysis capabilities are reserved for the broader admin surface and may appear limited in the workspace — for example, detailed clause-body analysis is not exposed on the workspace surface (you'll still get summary-level intelligence and renewal scoring). If you need a capability you don't see, it may be an admin-only or flag-gated feature — check with your administrator.
A realistic example
Nadia works for a client organization on StretchSuite. She logs into her workspace and opens StretchContracts — every agreement shown is her company's, nobody else's. She drafts a One-Way NDA from a template for a new supplier, fills in the parties and effective date, and saves it. She creates an envelope, adds the supplier's contact as the signer, places a signature field, and sends. The supplier signs the same afternoon. Nadia's weekly renewal view — scoped only to her company — reminds her that a hosting agreement renews in three weeks, which she handles before it becomes urgent. She never had to think about organizations or tenancy; the workspace kept everything hers.
Tips
- Trust the scoping. You never need to filter by organization — the workspace already limits everything to yours.
- Use templates for speed. The library is fully available in the workspace, so most agreements start half-written.
- Check renewals weekly from the workspace. Your renewal-risk views are organization-scoped and always current.
- Ask about missing features. If an advanced analysis view isn't visible, it may be admin-only or not yet enabled.
FAQ
Can I see other organizations' contracts? No. The workspace is strictly scoped to your organization.
Can I send agreements for signature from the workspace? Yes — create the envelope, add recipients and fields, and send, all from the workspace.
Why can't I see full clause analysis? Detailed clause-body reads aren't exposed on the workspace surface. You still get renewal and risk intelligence; deeper analysis lives on the admin surface.
