StretchContracts

Draft, negotiate, e-sign, and manage the full lifecycle of your business agreements — with template drafting, tamper-evident e-signature, and renewal and risk intelligence — all inside StretchSuite.

What is StretchContracts?

StretchContracts is the agreement-management application inside StretchSuite. It gives your team one place to draft contracts from a library of ready-made templates, store every agreement as a structured record, send documents out for legally-compliant electronic signature, and stay ahead of renewals and risk — without leaving the suite or stitching together a separate e-signature tool, a spreadsheet of renewal dates, and a shared drive full of PDFs.

Think of it as three connected layers working on the same data:

  • A contract registry — every agreement is a record with a title, type, status, owner, value, and key dates (start, end, renewal). Records move through a clear status pipeline from draft to active and eventually to renewed or archived.
  • An e-signature engine — turn any agreement into a signing envelope, add recipients and signature fields, and send it for signature. Every action is written to a tamper-evident, hash-chained audit trail, and a completed envelope produces a sealed completion certificate.
  • A contract intelligence engine — surface renewals coming due, score renewal and portfolio risk, and (where enabled) run AI-assisted clause, obligation, and financial extraction over your documents.

Who it's for

StretchContracts is built for the people who own agreements end to end: operations and finance teams tracking vendor and SaaS commitments and their renewal dates; sales and account teams turning proposals into signed MSAs and SOWs; founders and legal-ops staff who need NDAs, contractor agreements, and offer letters signed quickly and defensibly; and anyone who has ever been surprised by a contract that auto-renewed because nobody was watching the notice window.

Key capabilities

Draft fast from templates. Start from the built-in library — Mutual and One-Way NDAs, Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, Independent Contractor and Consulting Agreements, Service Agreements, Employment Offer Letters, SaaS Subscription Agreements, and Vendor/Supply Agreements. Each template is organized into sections with reusable merge fields (party names, effective date, term length, contract value, governing law, notice period) so you fill in the blanks instead of writing from scratch.

Manage the full lifecycle. Create agreements, record their commercial terms and dates, and advance them through statuses: draft → internal review → sent → approved → active → renewed → expired/archived/cancelled. Amounts are tracked with a currency (CAD by default), and every contract gets a stable, shareable contract key.

Send for signature with a real audit trail. Build an envelope from a contract, add recipients with roles (signer, approver, CC, viewer), place signature, initials, date, text, and checkbox fields, then send. Signers give explicit electronic-signature consent (UETA/ESIGN aligned), can be protected with an access code, and can sign in a required order. Every view, consent, signature, decline, and void is sealed into a hash-chained audit log, and completion produces a certificate binding the document fingerprint to the audit root.

Stay ahead of renewals and risk. The dashboard highlights renewals due in the next 45 days. Renewal-risk scoring flags agreements as low, medium, high, or critical based on how soon they expire, and portfolio views roll risk up across your whole book — including a watchlist for agreements whose notice window has closed or that will auto-renew.

AI-assisted analysis (where enabled). When the intelligence and AI features are switched on, StretchContracts can summarize a contract and extract parties, dates, payment and termination terms, key obligations, and risk flags — plus clause classification, obligation and financial extraction, and version-to-version comparison. This is informational analysis to speed review, not legal advice.

How it fits StretchSuite

StretchContracts shares the same organization, identity, and workspace model as the rest of StretchSuite, so agreements are scoped to your organization and visible to the right people automatically. It pairs naturally with the other suite apps — quote and close in your sales tools, then draft and sign the agreement here; track the vendor in your operations app, then manage its contract and renewal date in StretchContracts. Because it lives in the suite, there are no per-signature add-on tools to license and no separate login for your team.
