Find a Time Across Multiple People

Add several guests and let StretchCalendar rank the times that work for everyone, honouring working hours, with a best-effort shortlist and a per-guest availability grid when no slot is perfect.

Find a time that works for everyone

The new Find a time panel overlays several people's calendars and working hours and returns the slots that work for the group — so you stop trading "does 2pm work for you?" messages.

  1. Open StretchCalendar and choose Find a time.
  2. Add your guests, marking each as required or optional.
  3. Set the duration and the date window, and choose whether to respect working hours (or the standard 9-to-5).
  4. Review the ranked slots. Each shows an N of M free badge, and a per-guest availability grid tells you exactly who is free, busy, or outside their hours.

If nothing works for everyone, Find a time still gives you a best-effort shortlist — the least-bad options, ranked by fewest conflicts — so you always have somewhere to start, rather than a dead end.

Availability

Rolling out. Find a time is released behind a feature flag and enabled per account. It reads your events, accepted attendees, and stored working hours.

Current limits (being expanded)

  • Find a time currently suggests slots; a one-click "schedule it and invite everyone" from a suggestion is the next step.
  • Two-way sync with external Google or Outlook calendars is a separate, credentials-based setup.
