Viewing invoices in the built-in reader

Invoices open in StretchSuite's own PDF reader — with search, zoom, and print — instead of a browser download.

What this adds

When you open an invoice's View action, it now opens in StretchReader, StretchSuite's own PDF viewer, rendered by our own engine — not a browser download or a third-party plugin.

  • In-app — read the invoice right where you are, with search, zoom, fit, thumbnails, and print.
  • Owned engine — the document is rendered by StretchSuite's PDF engine, so it looks the same for everyone and nothing is sent to an outside service.
  • Consistent everywhere — the same viewer is being wired into other document-heavy apps (Strexada, Contracts, Shop), so every StretchSuite app shows documents the same way.

How to use it

  1. Open an invoice in StretchBooks and choose View.
  2. The invoice opens in the reader; use search / zoom / print as needed.
  3. Download is still available if you want a local copy.

Availability

Rolling out. The in-app invoice viewer is enabled per account on the workspace. If it is off, invoices open the previous way. Bringing the same viewer to the admin surface and to Strexada/Contracts/Shop is in progress.
