Troubleshooting StretchBAS

Fix the common StretchBAS issues — no content to absorb, model unavailable, insufficient credits, off-brand output, empty audits, scheduling not ready, and checkout errors.

"No crawled pages found for this brand — crawl it in StretchSearch first"

What it means: Absorb (and audits) read content that StretchSearch has already indexed, and none was found for your subject.

Fix:
1. Confirm you used the exact domain (for example paynecoaching.co) as the subject, not a nickname.

2. Open StretchSearch and run a crawl of that domain; let your key pages index.

3. Return to the Absorb tab and try again.

No credit is lost here — the run stops before charging.

Generation returns a 503 / "No model endpoint is configured"

What it means: On-brand generation (absorb synthesis, generate, pack, social, refine, score) needs the content model to be online, and it's momentarily unavailable or not yet configured in your workspace.

Fix:
- Your credit is refunded automatically, so nothing is lost. Wait a moment and try again.

- Brand audits still work without the model (they're deterministic), so you can keep auditing meanwhile.

- If it persists, contact your StretchSuite admin — the generation model may need to be switched on for your workspace.

"Insufficient credits" (402)

What it means: Your wallet balance is too low for the action (or for the next piece of a pack).

Fix:
1. Open StretchBAS → Credits and buy a pack (Starter 10 / Growth 50 / Scale 200).

2. If self-serve checkout isn't enabled yet (see below), ask your admin to grant credits.

3. Re-run the action. For big content packs, top up before you start so the batch doesn't stop early.

"Self-serve checkout isn't enabled yet" (503)

What it means: Stripe checkout hasn't been switched on for your workspace.

Fix: Contact your StretchSuite admin, who can grant credits directly while self-serve checkout is being enabled.

I paid but my credits aren't showing

What it means: The Stripe payment succeeded but the workspace hasn't confirmed the session yet.

Fix: Reopen the Credits tab so StretchBAS can verify the session and grant the credits. Grants are idempotent — confirming again will never double-charge or double-grant. If the balance still doesn't update, check that you're in the same workspace you started checkout from (a "that checkout doesn't belong to this account" 403 means it was started elsewhere).

An audit scored 0

What it means: No owned, indexed content covers that subject — and a subject with no coverage always scores zero by design.

Fix:
- If the subject is genuinely uncovered, treat the 0 as a content opportunity: publish authoritative content for it, re-crawl in StretchSearch, and re-audit.

- If you do have content, the relevant pages probably aren't indexed. Crawl them and re-audit.

Generated content doesn't sound like my brand

What it means: The fingerprint the generator is following doesn't fully match your real voice.

Fix (in order):
1. Edit the fingerprint — sharpen the voice, tone, themes, and value propositions. This is free and applies to your next generation.

2. Give a more specific request — include the goal, the offer, and any must-haves (but don't re-describe your tone; that's the fingerprint's job).

3. Score and refine — score the draft, then refine using the suggestions, then re-score.

4. Re-absorb — if your website content has genuinely changed, re-crawl and absorb again to capture the current voice.

Social posts won't schedule ("Social scheduling is being switched on")

What it means: Optimal-time scheduling into StretchSocial isn't enabled in your workspace yet.

Fix: Your generated posts are safe in History. Copy them and post manually for now, and schedule from StretchBAS once the feature is live. You won't be charged for scheduling — it's free.

A content pack stopped partway through

What it means: A fatal condition (model unavailable or insufficient credits) halted the batch after some pieces.

Fix: The pieces that failed were refunded and never charged; the successful ones are kept in History. Resolve the cause (top up credits or wait for the model) and re-run for the remaining formats.

"Brand profile not found" / "Generation not found"

What it means: The item isn't in your current workspace, or it was archived.

Fix: Switch to the workspace that owns it, pick the item from the Profiles or History list rather than an old link, or absorb the brand again if the profile was archived.

Still stuck?

  • Confirm you're in the right workspace (shown by the Org ID at the top of the page) — profiles, credits, and audits are all organization-scoped.
  • Remember that failed metered actions are refunded automatically, so retrying is safe.
  • If a problem persists across retries, contact StretchSuite support with the action you ran, the subject/profile involved, and the exact on-screen message.
