Platform-tailored social posts
StretchBAS can write one on-brand post per platform in a single action, and each post follows that platform's own conventions for length, tone, and hashtags. This is the StretchSEM → StretchBAS → StretchSocial bridge in action: your fingerprint provides the voice, an optional keyword provides the SEO angle, and StretchSocial can schedule and publish the results.
Supported platforms and how StretchBAS writes for each:
| Platform | Style StretchBAS writes to | Suggested posting window |
|---|---|---|
| Professional but human — a strong hook, one to three short paragraphs (~80–150 words), 3–5 hashtags. | Tue–Thu, 8–10am or around noon | |
| X (Twitter) | One punchy idea, max 280 characters, 1–2 hashtags. | Weekdays 9am–12pm, peaks around noon |
| Warm, visual, first-person — a hook line, 2–4 short lines with tasteful emoji, 5–10 hashtags on their own line. | Mon–Fri 11am–1pm and 7–9pm | |
| Conversational and community-oriented — 1–2 short paragraphs (~50–120 words), ending with a question or light CTA, 0–2 hashtags. | Tue–Fri 9am–1pm |
Each post is metered per platform at 1 credit, with automatic refunds on any post that fails — so a four-platform run costs up to 4 credits, and a platform that fails is never charged.
Generating social posts step by step
- Open StretchBAS → Generate and choose the social posts option.
- Select the brand profile.
- Pick the platforms you want (any of LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook).
- Write your request — the topic or announcement the posts should cover.
- (Optional) Add a target keyword for SEO/discoverability.
- Generate. You'll get one post per platform, each already written to that platform's rules, plus the recommended posting window. Every post is saved to History.
Scheduling posts into StretchSocial
Once you have generated posts, StretchBAS can hand them to StretchSocial to be scheduled at each platform's next optimal slot — computed to a concrete upcoming date and time using per-platform best-day/best-hour windows (for example LinkedIn on the next Tue–Thu at 9am, X on the next weekday at 11am). Scheduling is free because the content was already metered when you generated it.
- From your generated posts, choose Schedule.
- StretchBAS resolves the next optimal slot for each platform and queues the post in StretchSocial with the status scheduled.
- You'll see the scheduled time for each post and how many were queued successfully.
Rolling out: Optimal-time scheduling into StretchSocial is being switched on. Until it's live in your workspace, the Schedule action returns a friendly "Social scheduling is being switched on — check back shortly" message. Your generated posts are safe in History in the meantime — you can copy and post them manually, or schedule them once the feature is enabled.
Example
Beau generates social posts for the Payne Coaching launch across LinkedIn, Instagram, and X, with the request "announce the 6-week accountability program, spots limited" and the keyword "accountability coaching." He gets three posts — a professional LinkedIn hook, a warm emoji-friendly Instagram caption, and a tight sub-280-character X post — for 3 credits. He then schedules them; StretchBAS queues the LinkedIn post for next Tuesday 9am, Instagram for the next weekday at noon, and X for the next weekday at 11am.
Tips
- Generate for every relevant platform at once — you get consistent messaging with platform-correct formatting in a single step.
- Trust the character limits. The X post is written to fit within 280 characters, so you don't have to trim it yourself.
- Use the suggested windows even if you post manually — they reflect strong general engagement times per platform.
- Refine before scheduling if a post needs a tweak — refining keeps it on-brand and saves a new version to History.
Troubleshooting
- "Pick at least one supported platform (linkedin, x, instagram, facebook)." No supported platform was selected. Choose one or more of the four.
- "Social scheduling is being switched on — check back shortly." The StretchSocial scheduler isn't enabled in your workspace yet. Copy the posts from History and publish manually, or try scheduling again later.
- "No posts to schedule." The posts you passed to Schedule had no body text. Generate the posts first, then schedule from those results.
- A post failed to generate. It's refunded automatically. Re-generate that single platform on its own.
