Understanding your StretchAnalytics Dashboard

The overview at a glance

The Overview is the home screen of StretchAnalytics and the single most useful page in the app. It answers "how are we doing right now?" by combining several live panels, all scoped to your organization. This article walks each panel top to bottom so you know exactly what every number means.

Records summary

The top strip shows headline counts for the current view:

• Total events — every recorded signal for your organization.
• Page views — events named page_view.
• CTA clicks — clicks on calls to action (cta_click).
• Form submissions — completed form intakes (form_submission).
• Messenger events — activity from messenger lanes.

These are the fastest health check in the app. A sudden drop in page views or a spike in form submissions is visible here before anywhere else.

KPIs (metric catalog)

Below the records strip is the KPI catalog — a library of named metrics, each with a current value and the suite app it draws from. The catalog spans your whole suite:

• Traffic — Platform total events
• Intake — Form submissions
• CRM — CRM contacts, CRM deals
• Support — Open support tickets, Support KB pages
• Files — File assets
• Learning — Learn courses
• Finance — Books invoices
• Search — Search projects

Each KPI reflects your organization's activity. As you use more of the suite, more of these light up with real values.

Recent events

The recent events feed lists the latest signals as they arrive — event name, brand, site, page path, CTA or form name, messenger lane, and a timestamp. It's the closest thing to a live tail of what's happening. Use it to confirm that tracking is working right after you publish a page or launch a campaign.

Daily rollups

Daily rollups pre-aggregate activity per day, broken out by brand, site, and page path, with totals for events, page views, CTA clicks, form submissions, and messenger events. Rollups make trends obvious: you can see whether Tuesday beat Monday without running a query.

Latest snapshots

Metric snapshots are point-in-time captures of your KPIs. The latest-snapshots panel shows the most recent captures with:

• the metric and its value,
• the quality status (a data-quality flag),
• the calculation mode and engine version used to produce it.

Snapshots are what let you look backward — a KPI shows today's value, snapshots show how it got there.

Saved report views

At the bottom, your saved report views are listed so you can reopen a configuration you built earlier. Reports you've paused are still listed; archived ones are hidden.

Step-by-step: a five-minute daily review

1. Open StretchAnalytics → Overview.
2. Scan the records summary for any large day-over-day change.
3. Check the KPI catalog for the two or three numbers you care about most.
4. Glance at recent events to confirm data is flowing.
5. Open daily rollups and compare the last two or three days.
6. If something looks off, jump to Explore to dig in.

Example

A marketing lead opens the overview and sees total events up 22% versus yesterday, driven by a spike in the daily rollup for one site. Recent events show a burst of cta_click signals from a single campaign page. She opens Explore, groups cta_click by page_path, confirms the source, and saves it as a report view named "Spring campaign — CTA by page."

Tips

• The overview is read-only by design — it's a fast snapshot. To slice data, use Explore; to persist a view, save a report view.
• Watch quality status on snapshots. A flagged snapshot is a hint to double-check the underlying data before you act on it.
• If a panel is empty, it usually means no activity of that type has been recorded yet for your organization — not that something is broken.

Troubleshooting

All tiles read zero. Your organization may not have recorded activity yet, or you may be viewing a brand-new workspace. Confirm activity exists in the source apps (forms, CRM, support).

Recent events look stale. The feed shows the most recent events; if nothing new appears, no new events have been recorded. Generate a test page view or form submission and refresh.

A KPI value looks wrong. Cross-check against the source app. StretchAnalytics reflects what the suite has recorded, so a mismatch usually points to the source data.
