General
What is StretchAnalytics? It's the analytics and reporting app inside StretchSuite. It reads live activity across your suite — events, forms, CRM, support, files, learning, finance, and search — and turns it into KPIs, dashboards, funnels, retention cohorts, saved reports, and scheduled exports.
Do I need to install a tracking script? No. StretchAnalytics reads activity that already flows through your suite, including web and messenger events. There's nothing to embed.
Is my data private to my organization? Yes. Every read is hard-scoped to your authenticated organization. The organization is resolved from your session and never accepted from a URL or parameter, so you only ever see your own data.
Metrics and data
Why does a KPI read zero? Usually because the KPI's source app has no matching activity yet for your organization. Confirm activity exists in the source app (forms, CRM, support, etc.).
Why does a number differ from the source app? Check that you're using the same time window and status filters. For example, Open support tickets excludes archived tickets by definition. KPI definitions are fixed and auditable so numbers stay comparable.
How do I see a metric's history? Use metric snapshots on the overview for point-in-time captures, or the Compare feature for a precise period-over-period read.
Can I create my own metric? The built-in KPI catalog has fixed definitions so numbers stay consistent across your team. For a custom measure, build it in Explore and save it as a report view or dashboard widget.
Explore, funnels, and retention
Why does my Explore query return nothing? The event name may not exist in that window. Event names are exact strings (page_view, not pageview). Widen the date range and verify the name.
Why do sum: and avg: return counts? Those metrics require the high-volume analytics engine. Until it's enabled for your workspace, Explore computes count.
Why is my funnel's later step larger than an earlier one? Funnels count events in the window rather than strict sequential journeys. Make sure your steps are in true order and tighten the date range.
Why is retention empty? Your window may lack enough first-seen visitors, or your return event may be too strict. Start with an empty return event to establish a baseline, and use a common cohort event like page_view.
AI insights
Does the AI change my data? No. AI insights are strictly advisory — the AI reads and interprets your numbers but never mutates records or takes action.
Why are AI insights unavailable? The feature is flag-gated per workspace and needs the model service to be ready. Ask your administrator to enable it.
Can I trust AI recommendations blindly? Treat them as a second opinion. Verify each insight against the raw data in Explore before acting.
The engine and roadmap
What is the "engine"? A proprietary high-volume rollup engine for very large event volumes. It's off by default; the app runs on live database reads today and returns a clear status when the engine isn't enabled.
Is forecasting available? Forecasting, next-best-action, and automated report narratives are on the roadmap and, where present, run in a dry-run, human-in-the-loop mode. StretchAnalytics never acts autonomously.
Limits
How many rows can I export? Up to 5,000 per CSV export, most recent first. Split large pulls into smaller date windows.
How many recipients can a schedule have? Up to 20 recipients, on a daily, weekly, or monthly cadence.
How many widgets fit on a dashboard? Up to 24 per dashboard.
How many metrics can a report track? Up to 30.
