Your first workspace session checklist

A concise, do-this-now checklist to complete in your first sign-in so the platform is set up correctly before you go deep.

How to use this checklist

Work through these in order during your very first signed-in session. None of them take long, and together they make sure your account, organization, access, and first app are all set up correctly before you invest time in any single tool. Check each off as you go.

The checklist

1. Confirm you're verified and signed in - [ ] Your email is verified (you clicked the link). - [ ] You're signed in and looking at your dashboard.

2. Confirm the right organization is active - [ ] Check the workspace header for the active organization name. - [ ] If you belong to more than one, make sure you selected the correct workspace. (You can change it with Switch workspace.)

3. Review your account basics - [ ] Open the Account app. - [ ] Confirm your name and email are correct. - [ ] Note your organization memberships.

4. Take stock of your apps - [ ] Open My Apps. - [ ] Note which apps are live vs coming soon. - [ ] Note which are included in your plan vs locked with a higher access tier.

5. Confirm or set up billing - [ ] Open Billing and confirm your current plan. - [ ] If the apps you need are locked, choose a membership or buy the apps/bundle you need. - [ ] Confirm the newly unlocked apps now open from My Apps.

6. Do one real task - [ ] Pick your single most useful action and complete it (e.g., add your top clients to StretchCRM, upload brand files to StretchDrive, or send an invoice in StretchBooks).

7. Know how to get help - [ ] Note that you can open a support ticket from the workspace. - [ ] Bookmark the help center and your dashboard.

A realistic example

When Cedar Coffee's owner runs this checklist, he confirms he's verified and in the Cedar Coffee organization (not his personal one), checks his Account details, opens My Apps and sees StretchShop is live but Pro-tier, upgrades in Billing, then completes item 6 by adding his first three products to StretchShop. Fifteen minutes, and the platform is correctly configured before he sinks an afternoon into building his storefront.

Tips

  • Do the checklist before deep work, not after. Fixing an active-organization mix-up early saves redoing work.
  • One real task is enough for session one. The goal is a correctly set-up account plus a taste of real value, not a finished rollout.
  • Keep the tab open. Your session persists, so you can return to the dashboard between tasks.

Troubleshooting

I can't complete step 5 — an app won't unlock after payment. Entitlements update after payment confirms; refresh and confirm you're in the right organization. If it persists, contact support with your receipt.

Step 2 shows the wrong organization. Use Switch workspace to change it before doing any real work.

I don't see an app I expected in step 4. It may be coming soon (not yet open) or above your plan tier (locked). See Understand what's live versus planned and How plans and app access work.
